It’s here!

The long-awaited July/August newsletter is now on the site.  Go to the Newsletters page to read it.  Sorry for the wait…September/October newsletter will not be far behind it!

For all those avid readers awaiting the July and August newsletters, I would like to reassure you that they will be on your screens before the end of September.  From now on we will be updating you every two months about the work of Tubakunde because with Pam in England, and work on the house nearly completed, there will not be as much to report until the project opens.  When it does, we will start to update you monthly again…but until that generous donor with £50,000 in her pocket comes forward we will just fill you in every two months!

Next week Pam will leave Rwanda to return to the UK to embark on some intense fundraising before she returns to Rwanda around October, with the aim to open to babies in the New Year.  She will be available from the end of July to accept speaking engagements, so if anyone is a member of a group who might want to support the project and would like her to come and speak, please get in touch by emailing or the Tubakunde secretary on: Hope to hear from you, wherever you are in the UK!

April in May

The April newsletter is now here and May will be following shortly.  Enjoy!

Apologies for the late arrival of the April newsletter – it got held up in what can only be described as the ‘Rwanda time’ void.  In the land with no television, no queues, no shopping, cleaning or washing to do (as there’s usually someone doing it for you) time has an amazing ability to disappear!  It is on its way…

easter.jpgEveryone working on the Tubakunde Project in Rwanda would like to wish everyone supporting us across the sea a very Happy Easter.  Wishing you every blessing at this joyous time!  In the words of our project manager: “It’s great to be alive with Jesus!”

Tubakunde Online!

This site has been created to keep everyone updated on the latest developments of the Tubakunde project in Musanze in Rwanda.  Hopefully regular newsletters will be archived and we will be able to post you pictures of our progress.  If you would like to give us any feedback please feel free to email the tubakunde account which will now be checked regularly.
